owe the bank £100, you got a problem.
owe the bank £100m, the bank got a problem.
owe the bank £100bn, the taxpayer got a problem.
It seems the taxpayer has become the guarantor of their own deposits.
What then is the point of the banks?

Why not, they already run a successful range of cigarettes.

The world's gone mad...mind you, I've been saying this for a very long time, but nobody listened...LOL...
have a ciggy, always makes me feel better...
I do...HLOL...GBHs...XX
You know how to distinguish the original Camel cigarettes from the fake? The original cigarettes have a hump on them. Of course, this was a joke. Is anyone here crazy about cigars? I used to smoke cigarettes but cigars have a better flavor.

The problem is greed. "It is easier for a camel to pass through the Eye of the Needle than for a rich man to enter Heaven."

I've heard this interpreted as a certain gate in Jerusalem that was so narrow that camels could only pass through with no load. Since the camels were not particularly interested in their loads, they would pass through willingly, but a rich man would not so easily shrug off his treasure at the gate of Heaven.
The obvious solution is put camels in charge of the banks (LOL)
