NYC lack of fit women

by semafu @ 2007-10-10 - 13:29:26

nyc

I've just come back from a couple of days in New York. This sign cracked me up - because there are clearly fewer good looking women in NYC than in London.

They probably think beauty is buying manolo shoes or whatever other nonsense they've picked up from that Sex in the City program.

Beauty isn't lifestyle or products, it's something you are born with (or not in my case)

btw, Am I the only one who thinks Sarah Jessica Parker has something of the equine about her...?

I agree with you about Sarah Jessica Parker. But I think that beauty is what's inside (I'm not religious, nor a hippy) not what is on the outside. Everything on the outside is superficial.

Real beauty is the beauty ofthe people you love, even when they look their worst and you still think "gosh I love you" and them to you. Just like why my boyfriend Adam was being sick everywhere and smelt horrible. I looked at him and thought "I really am so in love with you"

I hate the whole "plastic surgery beauty". It's a load of dung, and everyone ends up looking like Pete Burns in the end.... that isn't what beauty is, and definately isn't what normality is!

Love what you've got, not what the fashion papers say you haven't got and don't covet the 'perfect body', it isn't real.

Maybe we should all walk around with a bag on our heads that would solve it.... but then there would be fashionable and unfashionable bags. Argh not good!

Sorry I'll shut up now =P
